North-Western Shipping Company and Volgo-Baltic Logistic took part in Breakbulk Europe
Between May 21 and May 23, 2019, North-Western Shipping Company PJSC (part of UCL Holding) and its subsidiary Volgo-Baltic Logistic LLC took part in the Annual Breakbulk Europe Transportation Conference & Exhibition for the tenth time, the company says in a press release. For the second year in a row, the event was held in Bremen, a significant logistics hub for diverse industries.
The largest European exhibition of oversize and overweight cargo transportation gathered over 550 professional exhibitors from 100 countries worldwide in the field of maritime and motor transport logistics, port service, equipment and facilities for transportation, loading and unloading. The exhibition numbered more than 11,000 visitors.
The booth of North-Western Shipping Company and Volgo-Baltic Logistic at Breakbulk Europe attracted lots of specialists. It provided a detailed presentation of the companies’ services on transportation of a wide range of cargo to sea and river ports of Europe, Asia, Africa as well as opportunities to deliver oversize, project and general cargo by river-sea ships and articulated tug and barge units.
North-Western Shipping Company PJSC, is the largest carrier in the Russian system of waterways, specializing in export/import shipping of bulk, general and project cargoes, towage of oversized cargo and crafts. The company operates a fleet of 47 river-sea vessels, 10 sea going vessels and 3 river-sea Ro-Ro barges. Total deadweight of the Company's fleet is 288,000 tonnes.
