Bunker sales at port Vladivostok in Jan-May’19 grew by 28% to 593,100 tonnes

In January-May 2019, total sales of bunker fuel at the port of Vladivostok and its offshore terminals amounted to some 593,100 tonnes, up about 28%, year-on-year (vs 463,900 tonnes), Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic told IAA PortNews. 

Almost one third of this volume was sold at the offshore terminals (eastern, western and internal ones), with the rest sold at the port.

In the reporting period, sales of heavy fuel oil totaled about 513,900 tonnes, fuel containing material – about 36,700 tonnes with diesel fuel accounting for the rest of the volume.   

The number of bunkering operations increased from 1,460 to 1,457.
