  Clarksons completes the acquisition of business of Safe Harbour Tanker Chartering

  

  Clarksons confirms that on 1 July 2019 Clarksons Platou Shipping Services USA (a wholly owned subsidiary) completed the acquisition of all business interests and personnel of Safe Harbour Tanker Chartering LLC.

  Safe Harbour has been in operation since 1989, and is based in Monroe,Connecticut. It is a well‐established ship broker, with a primary focus on the edible oils sector, specialising in veg oil exports from the United States and South America to the wider Americas and European markets.

  Other activities include a presence within the biodiesel sector, and alsoiso‐tank and flexi bag chartering. The Safe Harbour business will add additional capabilities to the Clarksons Platou Specialised Products business.
