NYK has been selected as an index component for FTSE4Good Index Series, the major evaluation benchmark of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) indices for the 17th straight year, and FTSE Blossom Japan Index, the benchmark of performance of Japanese corporations with excellent responses to ESG issues for the third consecutive year.

In accordance with the medium-term management plan “Staying Ahead 2022 with Digitalization and Green” announced in March 2018, NYK integrated ESG principles into management strategies.
