FESCO and UNICO to develop expedited transit services from Japan and South Korea to Europe

FESCO Transportation group and Korean logistics company UNICO LOGISTICS CO. have signed intent agreement in the Eastern Economic Forum, FESCO says in a press release. The agreement is aimed to develop expedited delivery of transit cargo from Japan and the Republic of Korea to Europe and Russia via the Trans-Siberian railway.

The purpose of the agreement is to consolidate a mutually beneficial partnership between FESCO and UNICO. The company is one of the largest freight forwarding agencies in the market of transportation between Japan, the Republic of Korea and Europe, showing great expertise in transit transport market development.

“Our partnership with UNICO opens up new perspectives and ample opportunities for promoting our new service Trans-Siberian Landbridge to shippers”, - Aleksandrs Isurins, President of FESCO, noted.

In May of this year FESCO and Russian Railways Logistics JSC (RZD Logistika) have jointly launched Trans-Siberian LandBridge service – new service for expedited delivery of transit cargo from Japan to Europe, which later was also expanded to the Republic of Korea.

UNICO LOGISTICS CO. is a logistics company providing railway container transport, truck transport from Europe to APAC countries and vice versa, oversized cargo delivery and warehousing services as well as full range of transport services including customs formalities.
