Fiscal metering of LNG during bunkering operations will be covered by a representative of Oil & Gas Systems Baltia (OGSB) at the “LNG Fleet and LNG Bunkering in Russia” conference (22 October 2019, Moscow).

The National Metrology Institute of the Netherlands (VSL) has issued a certificate that confirms calibration and measurement capabilities of the OGSB metrology laboratory. This certificate awards international recognition to certain product calibration methods that are used at the factory and confirms the accuracy of the measurements performed by the OGSB metrological laboratory. From now on, the company’s specialists have acquired the right to perform calibration work with the registration of results of measurement to determine the capacity of the grooved areas using VSL forms, which are recognized in the European Union, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
The 3rd “LNG Fleet and LNG Bunkering in Russia” conference will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The event organized by Russia’s leading industry-focused media group PortNews with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Russian Chamber of shipping is supported by PAO Gazprom as it General Partner.
The conference is highly topical amid the need to implement projects on using liquefied natural gas (LNG) in maritime and river transport, creation and development of LNG bunkering infrastructure, undertaking of priority measures for local production of essential equipment for mid- and large-scale production of LNG as well as construction of LNG carriers.
