New LNG terminal of 30,000 cbm in capacity to be launched in Hamina (Finland) in late 2020

By the end of 2020, an LNG terminal will be put into operation in the Finnish port of Hamina by a joint venture of Alexela Energia AS (Estonia) and Haminan Energia (Finland), IAA PortNews correspondent cites Artur Dianov, General Director of Alexela Energia, as saying at the roundtable meeting “Small scale lNG – a new breakthrough for natural gas” held in the framework of the 9th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.

According to the speaker, the terminal of 30,000 cbm in capacity will also have an LNG bunkering infrastructure. “We will operate the terminal. Investments into the project will total about EUR 150 million”, Artur Dianov told IAA PortNews.
