On 3 October 2019, Rostov Region Governnor Vasily Golubev signed a decree on appointment of Victor Vovk as Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region, say press center of the regional government.
At his new position, Victor Vovk will be in charge of roads, transport and construction.
Born in Rostov-on-Don, Victor Vovk graduated from Rostov University in 1998 with specialization in Law Study. PhD in Law.
Used to hold different top positions in commercial organizations of the transport sector. For several years was heading the port of Rostov. From 2010, has been deputy head of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency.
