Throughput of Russian seaports in 9M’19 grew by 2.8% to 626.78 million tonnes

In January-September 2019, Russian seaports handled 626.78 million tonnes, up 2.8% year-on-year, says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).

In the reporting period, transshipment of dry bulk cargo totaled 280.13 million tonnes (-4.4%), liquid bulk cargo - 346.65 million tonnes (+9.4%).
 
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 78.59 million tonnes of cargo (+17.5%) including 23.47 million tonnes of dry cargo (+4.1%) and 55.11 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+24.2%).

Seaports of the Baltic basin handled 193.04 million tonnes (+0.6%) including 83.26 million tonnes of dry cargo (+2.5%) and 109.78 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+8.8%).

Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin basin handled 191.20 million tonnes (-7.5%) including 70.69 million tonnes of dry cargo (-23.2%) and 120.51 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.1%).

Seaports of the Caspian basin handled 5.46 million tonnes (+53.1%) including 2.02 million tonnes of dry cargo (+0.8%) and 3.43 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+120.3%).
 
Seaports of the Far East basin handled 158.50 million tonnes (+5.2%) including 100.69 million tonnes of dry cargo (+5.7%) and 57.81 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+4.4%).
