The Patrol ship of the Black Sea Fleet "Vasily Bykov" completed the program of calling at the Greek port of Pylos, where the crew took part in the events dedicated to the 192nd anniversary of the Battle of Navarino, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
During its stay in Pylos, the ship was visited by several hundred residents and visitors of the city, and the provincial administration organized excursions to local sights for the Russian sailors.
After leaving the Greek port, the crew of Vasily Bykov took the opposite course to the main base of the Black Sea Fleet - Sevastopol.
