Additional RUB 5 billion to be annually allocated under the programme of subsidized leasing for shipbuilding industry in 2020-22. According to the statement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, that was announced by Denis Manturov, RF Minister of Industry and Trade during his working meeting with Aisen Nikolayev, head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

When discussing the modernization of the Zhatai shipyard, Denis Manturov emphasized that the federal budget provided RUB 21.34 billion for construction of 67 ships under the leasing programme for sea and river going civil ships. The scheme used to finance implementation of leasing projects implies signing of leasing agreements and contracts with ship owners and shipyards for construction of civil ships on favorable conditions.
