ESL Shipping participates in Intelligence Hunt

SL Shipping says it participates for the first time to Intelligence Hunt competition arranged by SeaFocus. Intelligence Hunt brings both the maritime supply chain related business and students, the industry’s potential future workforce, together.

Intelligence Hunt invites talented students from universities all over Europe, professional mentors with long and wide industry and service experience and matches them with the case companies in real business case assignments. The project lasts from 2-3 months and culminates in the finals in January, where the student teams present their solutions and high-level inspiring industry speakers share their views with the audience. This year the final is held during NaviGate maritime fair on 21 January 2020.

ESL Shipping’s case assignment relates to data collection and how that huge amount of data collected onboard could be transferred to economically justified decisions.

"We have had our first meeting with our student team and we are confident that with their enthusiasm they are able to give us valuable ideas", comments Mikki Koskinen, Managing Director of ESL Shipping.
