TransContainer dispatched test train from Korea to Poland
TransContainer says the first block train loaded with Korean cargo has been dispatched form the berth of Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company LLC (it is a part of the Global Ports group) at Vostochny port to the destination station of Małaszewicze in the Republic of Poland. The train with LG Chem’s component parts will go through the territory of Russia and Belarus and cross the border between Belarus and Poland in Brest.
PJSC TransContainer is planning to make this service weekly which may additionally increase number of customers ordering transit transportation from the Asia Pacific countries. The regular train will be in demand in case the delivery from Korea to Europe is twice as fast as Deep Sea transportation.
This project is realized in the context of cooperation between PJSC TransContainer and Pantos Logistics. The companies have stated their intent to cooperate in the respective memorandum during Eastern Economic Forum 2019.
