Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in Jan-Nov’19 declined by 3.5% to 497.2 million tonnes

In January-November 2019, port Shanghai (China) handled 497.2 million tonnes of cargo, down 3.5%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput of the port grew by 4% to 40 million TEUs.

In 2018, the port of Shanghai handled 561.29 million tonnes.
