October Revolution Shipyard rolls out small seiner for a Kamchatka fishing company

Blagoveshchensk, Amur region based Shipyard named after October Revolution launched on July 30, 2020, the first of three retrofitted seiners of Project 1338 K. The shipbuilding firm says the three fishing boats were ordered by a fishing enterprise Delta Fish LTD from Ust-Kamchatsk.

After launching the boat will undergo outfitting at the shipyard pier. Upon completion of sea and dock-side trials in the Zeya River the ship will be handed over to the Customer, and will set sail for its homeport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Blagoveshchensk Shipyard was founded in 1887. The shipbuilding firm specializes in the construction of small fishing boats, medium-size fishing vessels, auxiliary vessels for the Navy. In recent years, the shipyard has handed over to the Pacific fleet four large hydrographic boats of Project 10920, which are serving in Primorsky Territory, Sakhalin and Kamchatka. The shipyard has capabilities to build vessels for various purposes with a length exceeding 75 m, breadth of 14 m and more, with light displacement tonnage of 1,500 tonnes.
