Container throughput of port Shanghai (China) in 2020 declined by 0.5%

In January-December 2020, port Shanghai (China) handled 43.5 million tonnes of cargo, down 0.5%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput in December exceeded 3.6 million TEUs.

In 2019, the port of Shanghai handled 538.31 million tonnes.
