Throughput of Iljichevsk Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) up 9.4% in Q1 07, y-o-y

In January-March 2007, throughput of Iljichevsk Commercial Seaport totaled 3.78 million tons (+9.4%, year-on-year), the port’s administration reports according to RBC-Ukraine. Transshipment of dry loose cargo grew by 41.4% to 1.52 million tons, general cargo – decreased by 4.8% to 1.89 million tons, liquid bulk cargo – by 5.9% to 0.4 million tons. In March transshipment of foreign trade cargo grew by 20.5% to 1.58 million tons. In 2006 the port decreased its results by 0.9% - to 14.8 million tons.
