LUKOIL is eyeing the construction of the forth phase of the transshipment complex in Vysotsk (Leningrad region), the company’s President Vagit Alekpeorov has told journalists today, RBC reports. “The first three phases are fully loaded and we hope that after the expansion project is put into implementation the transshipment complex in Vysotsk will become one of the largest terminals in Russia to transship export oil products,” Mr. Alekpeorov noted. He also told that in 2007 the company exported its products mainly through its own terminals, first of all, via the terminal in Vysotsk. According to Mr. Alekpeorov, distillation of the company’s product at Russian refineries increased by 7.7% to 42.5 million tonnes in 2007.
