Sea trials of new PRISCO’s aframax has been successfully completed. Main systems and machines of tanker “Zaliv Amerika” were checked directly at the sea. This tanker is built at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) shipyard (South Korea).
Representatives of PRISCO, HHI and classification society Det Norske Veritas recognized that the tanker had shown good navigation characteristics that were specified speed and high maneuvering ability.
The ship owner will take delivery of the tanker in a week.
Tanker “Zaliv Amerika” is a main vessel of the new PRISCO’s aframax series. Each of 6 vessels of 100 000 deadweight will be named after Far eastern gulfs.
