RosMorRechFlot to prepare approval of St. Petersburg port border limits in Q3 2008

Russia’s Federal Agency of Marine and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot) believes the work on preparation of approval of port border limits (Murmansk, Big Port of St. Petersburg, Primorsk, Vyborg, Sochi, Temryuk, Kavkaz, Taganrog, Taman, Makhachkala, Olya, Vanino, Sovetskaya Gavan, Nikolayevsk-on-Amur, De-Castri, Mys Lazareva) is to be completed in the third quarter of 2008, deputy head of Rosmorrechflot Igor Rusu told at the Agency’s meeting yesterday.

According to the report, by the end of 2008 it is planned to prepare materials for seaports of Sakhalin region, Kamchatka Territory and Chukotka Autonomous Territory; in 2009 – seaports of Arctic region (Tiksi, Dudinka, Igarka, Khatanga and Zeleny Mys).

He also said in April May 2008 the materials were revised for seaports of Ust-Luga, Kaliningrad, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Tuapse, Yeisk, Astrakhan, Vostochny, Vladivostok, Posiet, Zarubino, Olga, Taman. Draft resolutions of the Government on approval of the above seaports’ limits are likely to be prepared by Rosmorrechflot and furnished to the Ministry of Transport in June-July 2008.
