Rolls-Royce goes to Shtokman

Rolls-Royce has signed a 12.4 million EUR contract over the delivery of anchoring systems for the two platforms to be used in the Shtokman project.
The technology will be produced and delivered by the company’s Brattvеg unit in Norway, Offshore.no reports. The equipment will be placed on the two Moss CS-50 platforms which will be used at the Shtokman field in the Barents Sea. The platforms are currently under construction in the Vyborg Shiyard outside Sankt Petersburg and in the Samsung Heavy Industry in South Korea.
