The Frunze district court of Vladivostok ruled to recover from CLANER SHIPPING Ltd. back wages in the amount of 198,512.91 rubles and 5,000 rubles of moral damage in favor of seafarers from the ship YERUSLAN, the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office statement said.
The sailors had reportedly filed a claim earlier at the Prosecutor's Office for wages delays for their work on the seagoing vessel YERUSLAN.
During the Prosecutor’s Office audit it was revealed that the company CLANER SHIPPING Ltd, the YERUSLAN’s owner, owed the crew members and the arrears of wages had reached $6381.
