The plans, the state oil giant's second LNG terminal in China, will be ready soon for submission to the National Development & Reform Commission for formal approval, an official with direct knowledge of the project told Reuters.
The terminal in the southern coastal city of Beihai of Guangxi region, will supply gas to a dozen cities in Guangxi and two cities in neighbouring Guangdong province through a planned pipeline grid.
