Total investments in the construction of Yug-2 berths reached RUB 8bn 502m: RUB1bn 953m of the Investment Fund and Ust-Luga Company’s own and borrowed funds – RUB 6bn 549m.

The Multipurpose Terminal Yug-2 handles rolling cargo, primarily new imported vehicles, as well as containers and general cargo. Ust-Luga boasts the only specialized terminal (part of Yug-2) in Russia capable of handling Ro-Ro and Con-Ro vessels. To date, Yug-2 terminal handles imported autos manufactured by Toyota, Hyundai, Kia and Subaru. In 2010, car throughput of Ust-Luga port rose by 3.8 times year-over-year to 65,500 units. The port plans to increase this year handling of vehicles by 2.5 times.
JSC Ust-Luga Company was established in 1992 for the construction of a new commercial seaport in the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland.
