Global bunker prices up on Wednesday
Ship & Bunker price data showed bunker prices were moving up on Wednesday, with key indicator ports Singapore, Rotterdam, Fujairah, and Houston all seeing IFO380 gaining between $6.00 and $12.00 pmt.
Singapore IFO380 was up $8.50 to $644.50 per metric tonne (pmt), and MGO gained for a second consecutive day adding $12.50 to bring the price to $970.50 pmt.
Hong Kong saw IFO380 climb $6.00 to $652.00 for a week-on-week loss of $14.50 pmt, while MGO moved up $12.50 to $988.50 pmt.
Rotterdam IFO380 gained $9.50 to $625.00 pmt, 1.00% maximum sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) added $12.50 to bring the price to $669.50, and MGO climbed for a fourth consecutive market day up $18.50 to $997.50 pmt.
Fujairah 380 cSt product moved up $12.00 to $647.00 pmt, $2.50 below last Wednesday's price, while MGO gained $7.00 to $1040.50 pmt.
Houston IFO380 climbed $6.00 to $636.00, LS380 was up $14.50 to $739.50, and MGO moved up for a fourth consecutive market day gaining $5.50 to $1056.50 pmt.
LA / Long Beach IFO380 rose $10.50 to $674.50 for a $12.00 week-on-week gain, while LS380 slid $12.00 to $775.00 making the premium for the low sulfur fuel $100.50 pmt.
The WTI spot price moved down on Wednesday losing $1.14 (1.23%) to close at $91.25 per barrel.
