Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding bagged an order to build two 82,000 dwt dry bulk carriers for UK-based shipowner Norse Management, Seatrade Asia online reports.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2014. The newbuilding price of each carrier is estimated at $28m.
The contract includes option to build three sister vessels. Norse Management may exercise the option by the end of this year, it was reported.
