Throughput Yeisk port up 60% to 60,700 tonnes in Jan 09

In January 2009, Yeisk Seaport OJSC (Krasnodar region) handled 60,700 tonnes of cargo (+60%, year-on-year), reports press center of Sovfracht – Sovmortrans Group (holds 53.2% of the company’s shares). In the reported period transshipment of grain cargo exceeded 42,000 tonnes, coal - 13,600 tonnes, sawn timber – less than 1,000 tonnes, plywood - 1,300 tonnes.

Yeisk Seaport OJSC handles export and import cargo traffic linking Russia’s southern regions with the Black Sea and Mediterranean countries.
