North Korea detains Russian ship
North Korean authorities have detained the Omsky-122 vessel owned by the Amur shipping company, the Russianstate maritime rescue service reported on Wednesday according to Interfax.
The incident happened near the Cape Musudan in the Sea of Japan on Tuesday, and the ship was escorted to the North Korean port of Kimchaek.
The Vladivostok maritime rescue and coordination center plans to turn to the North Korean consulate general in Khabarovsk after it receives more information from the ship's owner.
