FTS sets USD tariffs for handling and storing of ex-im cargo by Vostochnaya Stevedore Company
Federal Tariff Service has set tariffs in USD for Vostochnaya Stevedore Company for handling and storing export-import cargo, FTS reports. Vostochnaya Stevedore Company LLC asked FTS to approve limit tariffs for handling and storage of containers. In order to stabilize the company’s financial state during crisis and taking into consideration that service users are mainly non-residents of the Russian Federation FTS approved the following tariffs in USD: for loading and unloading as well as storage of export-import cargo; handling and storage of coastal trade cargo is left unchanged.
The tariffs set by FTS come into effect according to specified procedure.
Vostochnaya Stevedore Company LLC is the largest container terminal in the Far East of Russia. It operates at Vostochny port. 25% of the company are owned by port operator DPW, 75% - Global Ports Group (part of N-Trans Group). The company’s throughput totaled 400,724 TEU in 2008.
