ICTSI Ecuador unit starts operating new cranes, berth

Guayaquil Container and Multipurpose Terminal (GCMT) in Ecuador, recently inaugurated three new quay cranes, eight rubber tired gantries (RTG) and the newly reinforced berths 1B and 1C.
A ceremony was held commemorating the start of a new standard in the port operations in Ecuador.
The cranes are the first of their kind to be used in Ecuadorian port operations, and are the most modern containerized cargo handling equipment in the country.
