The Minister for Economics is authorized to sell one tenth of Mazeikiu Nafta shares to the Poles
The Government granted on Wednesday the authority to the Minister for Economics Dainius Kreivys to offer the Polish concern PKN Orlen to purchase the remaining one tenth of the shares in Mazeikiu Nafta.In line with the option agreement Lithuania will present a report and necessary agreement implementation supplements to the Polish concern. The Poles will have to pay 284.45 million US dollars (over 700 million litas) for the remaining shares of the company. The Government plans to forward these finances into the Stabilization Fund.
