Oil price up to $52.85 in London and to $53.2 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $2.05 on May 1 to $52.85 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude climbed $2.08 to $53.2 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
