Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg accomplishes handling operation of equipment for indian atomic power plant

Specialists of the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” accomplished the handling operations of 45th heavy equipment lot for Indian power plants with approximate total weight of 2.6 thousand tons, the company reports. 

The latest equipment was loaded on the board of the motor ship Nordana Sophie by two gantry cranes “Sokol”. Containers with equipment, cables, metal structures and out-of-gauge pipes with the length of 11-12 meters were successfully handled by the dockers of the Second Stevedoring Company.
