Oil price up to $54.58 in London and to $54.47 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $1.73 on May 4 to $54.58  per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude climbed $1.27 to $54.47 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
