PRISCO fleet was renewed by three new vessels. One of them is the first in the company’s history bulker “PRISCO Abakan”.
Naming ceremony of bulker “PRISCO Abakan” and tanker “PRISCO Elena” was held on STX Shipbuilding, Jinhae, South Korea. Tanker “Zaliv Anadyr” was named on Hyundai Heavy Industries Offshore, Ulsan (South Korea).
According the company’s tradition new vessels were blessed by orthodox priests Abbot Tikhon (Sakhalin) and Abbot Theofan (Seoul). Godmothers of new vessels became Mrs. Elena Pismennaya, spouse of chartering manager PRISCO (Singapore), Mrs. Alexandra Kalacheva, assistant Director for legal services PRISCO (Singapore) Moscow, and Mrs. Tatiana Koryakina, head of legal division PRISCO.
Tanker “Zaliv Anadyr” with 244 meters length and 42 meters width is able to transport 104 thousands tons of oil by one voyage. As four previous vessels of series, “Zaliv Anady” has double hull and 1 C Ice Reinforcement.
Tanker “PRISCO Elena” for oil, oil products, and chemical and alimentary cargo transportation is the fifth in the series. Her deadweight is 51 thousand tons, 183 meters length and 32 meters width. The vessel is able to work in the regions with temperature above -250 С.
Bulker “PRISCO Abakan” has 190 meters length and 32 meters width. According the design documentation bulker has five cargo hold compartments and four thirty-tons cranes. The vessel is able to transport bulk cargo, for example, grain, and campanile, sulfur, rolled metal products. The vessel was built on STX Shipbuilding, Jinhae, South Korea.
