River shipping company Navigator plans to deliver 150,000 tonnes of oil products to 2 storage tankers in Kerch port and one storage tanker in port Kavkaz in May 2009, PortNews IAA leant from the company. Discharge of the first batch was carried out by Navigator on April 27. Oil products are delivered by the shipping company from Syzran refineries (Rusneft) and Saratov as well as from on-shore terminals in Oktyabrsk, Azov and Taganrog to be further exported. This year 17 tankers of Navigator company operate in this sector.
The fleet of Navigator LLC comprises 17 oil tankers with the capacity of 5,000 tonnes each. 9 of them werebuilt in 2003-2005. Some 60% of cargo transported by the company falls on heavy fuel oil and some 40% - on gas oil.
