Oil price up to $56.47 in London and to $56.71 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $0.32 on May 7 to $56.47 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude climbed $0.37 to $56.71 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
