A Russian fishing boat with 12 people on board has run aground in the Barents Sea near Medvezhy Island, Norwegian media reported Monday according to RIA Novosti.
Norwegian rescuers evacuated the Petrozavodsk's crew by helicopter, with no one reported injured.
"All 12 crew are feeling fine. The helicopter with the Russian trawlermen will land on Medvezhy Island for fueling and will then head for Norway," a rescue spokesman said.
