The Lithuanian and Russian Ministers for Transport will to discuss the ways of development and improvement of the conditions of cargo transportation in Eastern-Western direction in Klaipeda, in the light of the speedy reduction of goods flows to Kaliningrad. Kaliningrad district is especially important for Russia because of the huge amount of cargo from Russia to this area travels via the Lithuanian territory.
The Ministers Eligijus Masiulis and Igor Levitin intend to discuss cargo transportation via railways tariffs, cooperation in road transport area, navigation in the Curonian bay and other transport development matters.
