The service will further enhance MOL's direct coverage of key ports in Asia as well as US Pacific Southwest.
According to company officials, use of Vietnam's Tan Cang Cai Mep Terminal, will help MOL to offer efficient, reliable service to its customer to the growing economic region.
On the westbound leg, the MOL Premium will be the first to sail from Cai Mep in Vietnam on June 4. The rotations will be-Cai Mep (Wed/Thurs), Hong Kong (Sun/Sun), Shenzhen-Yantian (Mon/Tues), Los Angeles (Sat/Tues), Oakland (Wed/Thurs), Tokyo (Sun/Mon), Xiamen (Thurs), Shenzhen-Dachan Bay (Fri/Sat)and Hong Kong (Sat/Sun) returning to Cai Mep (Wed).
Transit time from Cai Mep to Los Angeles will be 16 days. The service would also provide the shortest transit time of 11 days from Shenzhen-Yantian to Los Angeles, said an MOL statement.
