The Shanghai-based carrier said the service will soon cover Zhanjiang, Shantou and Singapore, starting with two 725-TEU vessels, the Yanhe and the Shenghe in the new upgraded service.
The new HSH rotation will soon be Shantou, Hong Kong, Zhanjiang, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City and back to Shantou.
"The extension will provide more convenient transit service from Zhanjiang and Shantou to global major ports via Hong Kong and Singapore," the carrier said. Transit times from Zhanjing to southeast Asia will be cut by half.
