Throughput of Crimean ports down 8.7% to 3.6 mln t in Jan-Apr 09

In January-April 2009, stevedore companies of Crimea handled 3.616 million tonnes of cargo (-8.7%, year-on-year, main statistics office of Crimea reports.

Kerch companies account for 54.5% of the volume. In the reported period, 721 vessels were handled at Crimean berths with vessels owned or chartered by foreigners accounting for 85.6%.
