Lietuvos Juru Laivininkyste (LJL) (Lithuanian Shipping Company), which incurred losses of 19.727 million litas (5.714 million euros) in 2008, continues operating at loss this year as well.
Over the first quarter of the year 2009, according to pre-audited data, the company suffered pre-tax losses of 13.697 million litas (3.967 million euros) and received revenues of 17.657 million litas (5.114 million euros), informs LETA/ELTA.
At the beginning of this year, the company's assets stood at 323.581 million litas (93.728 million euros) and equity amounted to 231.059 million litas (66.928 million euros).
