The Asia Australia Discussion Agreement bunker surcharge for shipments from China and Hong Kong to ports in Australia will go up on June 12 to US$275 per TEU and US$550 per FEU.
This reflects recent increase in the price of oil at Hong Kong and South Korea and was devised "in accordance with the established review procedures", said the association in a notice to the trade.
