RZD placed the 12th issue of bonds in the volume of RUR 15 bln

The first coupon rate is set at 14.9% ann. or 74.3 rub./pcs. The issue covers 15mln bonds of 1ths rub. par and 10 years in maturity. The issue was arranged by VTB, Troika Dialog, Transcreditbank, Gazprombank, Sberbank. 

RZHD was set up in 2003 on the basis of the communications ministry. 100% are held by the state. The share capital is worth 1.54tril rub. split in 1541697819 common stocks of 1ths rub. par.

The 2007-net profit (IAS) rose 3.69 fold to reach 144.9mln rub. from 139.8mln rub. In 2008 the cargo transportation moved down 3% to 1.3bn rub. against prior year; the cargo turnover being up 5% to 2.42tril tariff/ton km.

In 2008 the net profit under RAS declined 6.3 fold to 13.4bn rub. from 84.46bn rub. prior year; revenues being up 12.9% to 1.102tril rub,
