Rosneft puts into operation its bunkering tanker RN Olimp (photo)
RN-Bunker LLC, Rosneft subsidiary, has put into operation its state-of-the-art bunkering tanker RN Olimp at port Tuapse. According to Rosneft press center, the vessel’s cargo capacity is about 4,800 t, maximum fuel supply capacity - 800 cbm/h.
The new tanker of unrestricted navigation meets all the safety requirements and complies with all international shipping conventions. RN Olimp will be deployed for operation in seaports of the Black Sea Basin.
Rosneft bunkering activities are performed by its subsidiaries: RN-Bunker and Rosneft Marine. The company has signed long-term contracts with large foreign ship owners - Maersk, CMA CGM, SEIC, Exxon Neftegas Limited.
RN-Bunker provides bunkering services at Russia’s largest seaports of the Far East, Black Sea and North West Basins as well as at river ports of the Volga-Don Basin, Amur and Lena rivers.
RN Olimp is the forth bunkering tanker which was jointly put into operation by Rosnefteflot CJSC and RN-Bunker LLC under Rosneft programme on the development of the company’s bunkering busines. RN Magellan, RN Taurus and RN Polaris have been providing bunkering services from 2011.
