Western Bulk adds one more time-charter with purchase options for Eco-type newbuilding

Western Bulk ASA, a dry bulk shipping company with a commercially controlled fleet of over 135 vessels, announces that its shipholding division (WB Shipholding) successfully has agreed to enter into an additional Japanese lease time charter contract for 7 years with three 1-year extension options and annual purchase options from year 5. The vessel is an Eco-Ultramax (61,000 dwt) from Japan. The charter will commence when the vessel is delivered from the yard in 2016, the company said in its press release.
