Russia and Italy can cooperate in shipbuilding, Vladimir Putin says

Russian President Vladimir Putin does not rule out cooperation of Russia and Italy in the sphere of shipbuilding, including military shipbuilding. According to Kremlin materials, this was announced by RF President at the press conference following the top-level Russian-Italian interstate consultations in Trieste.

«There are cooperation opportunities in ... shipbuilding, both civilian and military, which points too, to the high level of trust in our relations», Vladimir Putin said. 

As for the civil sector, he noted, “it means the specialized equipment for offshore projects, for our large companies.”
