Ulstein Group's contributes with a ' virtual shipyard ' at the new exhibition that opens 3rd of April at the Norwegian Maritime Museum in Oslo.
“Ulstein decided to contribute directly to the exhibitions with the ‘Virtual Yard' installation. In this installation visitors can ‘walk around’ in the Ulstein Verft premises and on board a newbuild at quay. The camera rotates 360 degrees, and several film clips showing shipbuilding aspects can also be watched,” says HR Director Torild Bugge. She adds that the 'Virtual Yard' will also be exhibited at Ulstein Expo in Ulsteinvik.
Large parts of the renewing of the museum comes from partner companies in the maritime industry. Of the approximately 50 maritime contributing companies are ULSTEIN, Rolls - Royce , IP Huse, Island Offshore , Olympic Shipping, Farstad Shipping and Havila.
