Throughput of port Helsinki (Finland) up 3% to 2.4 mln t in QI'14

In January-March 2014, the port of Helsinki (Finland) handled 2.4 mln t of cargo (+3%, year-on-year), the port authority says. Passenger turnover hit 2.1 mln persons.

The Port of Helsinki is one of the largest ports in Finland, the largest passenger port and the third largest in the Baltic Sea. The port accounts for 77% of passenger traffic in Finland.
